Club Support Program

At Craft Supplies USA, we’ve always believed that woodturning is more than just a hobby, it’s a community. From the first time a beginner makes their first pen to the intricate work of a seasoned master, the journey is best shared with others.

That’s why we are incredibly proud of our Woodturning Club Support Program. For years, we’ve made it our mission to give back to the local chapters and guilds that keep the art of the lathe alive.

Empowering Local Guilds

We know that local clubs are the heartbeat of the woodturning world. They provide the mentorship, demonstrations, and camaraderie that help turners grow. To help these organizations thrive, Craft Supplies USA provides annual support in the form of gift certificates and exclusive club discounts.

These contributions are designed to help clubs:

  • Boost Meeting Attendance: Use gift certificates as door prizes for monthly meetings.
  • Fundraise: Provide high-quality items for club auctions and raffles.
  • Support Education: Make tools and supplies more affordable for club-led workshops and beginner classes.

Woodturning Club Support Program FAQ's

Have questions about how we partner with woodturning communities?  We’ve updated our FAQ with specific details on gift cards, discounts, and how your club can get involved.

Joining is easy! If your club is ready to sign up, simply email a current roster of your members to our program coordinator at service@woodturnerscatalog.com.  Be sure to include the name and mailing address of the person designated to receive the gift cards (usually a club treasurer).

We believe in consistent support throughout the year.  We provide one $10 gift card for every 10 members in your club, distributed on a quarterly basis.

Even if you aren't placing a large group order, being a member of a registered club has its perks! Individual members receive 10% off abrasive discs and finishes.

  • How to claim: Simply call in your order and mention your club membership to our representative to have the discount applied.

For clubs looking to stock up on supplies or project kits, our Group Order program offers the deepest savings.  To qualify, the group order must meet a $1,000 minimum (excludes machinery, workshops, and gift cards).

The Perks:

  • 13% Discount on qualifying items.
  • Free Shipping on the entire order.
  • Stacked Savings: This discount is applied on top of our existing quantity discounts!

To ensure your club receives the full 13% discount and free shipping, group orders must be placed over the phone.  Collect your members' needs and give us a call at 1-800-551-8876.

Check out the extensive list of partner clubs in the article above! If you don't see one in your immediate area, we recommend checking the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) chapter directory to find a local group of makers to join.
