Made in England by Liberon®, Wax Polish Black Bison is ideal for finishing all types of wood including lacquers and french polishes. It can be applied directly to bare wood or on top of other finishes to produce a deep, lustrous finish. This liming wax will give a dramatic effect when used to fill in open grained timbers such as oak or ash. For greater contrast in grain pattern, stain or color the wood first, then apply the wax. Before applying the wax, open the grain first by brushing or blowing dust out of the pores. Apply the wax with a pad of steel wool and fill the grain completely. After the liming wax has dried a few minutes, finish by waxing with Black Bison paste wax. This wax can be used to produce a striking black grained effect or as a colored finish. It can also be used to highlight areas on carvings or turnings. Staples® Crystal Clear Paste Wax with imported Carnauba has been one of America's premium waxes since 1897. This wax provides a hard, clear non-yellowing film of unsurpassed durability and protection as well as bringing out the richness and luster in woodwork of all kinds. It is recommended for use over oil finishes, or can be applied with 0000 steel wool to polish and control the sheen on surface finishes such as lacquers, polyurethanes, or varnish. A gentle buffing with a soft paper towel or flannel cloth can produce a low sheen to a high polish. This wax does not contain beeswax or silicones. *16 oz.

Briwax® Original Paste Wax is the first choice among British woodturners such as Ray Key. The beeswax and carnauba base is blended together with traditional solvents to produce a quick drying finish. It is recommended that turnings be coated with a sanding sealer to seal the wood. The surface is then cut back with 0000 steel wool and clear Briwax. Buffing with a soft cloth will produce a satin finish. *16. oz.

Town Talk® Orange Wax is a hard paste wax that's ideal for finishing salad bowls, cutting boards, butcher blocks and wooden serving utensils. Made from a blend of all natural beeswax, carnauba wax and citrus oils, it dries to a hard, durable food-safe finish with a beautiful satin sheen. Artisan® Lemon Oil Wax features a combination of oil, wax and lemon oil to produce the ultimate finish for wooden kitchenware. The soft wax spreads easily, and while you rub it in, turns into an oil which penetrates and seals the surface. Turners Select™ Beeswax is a purified, natural wax which can be used alone as a low sheen, soft finish. Applied with a soft cloth while the bowl is spinning on the lathe, the heat from the friction quickly softens the wax, which then spreads across the work, penetrating and polishing at the same time. Directions- Apply liberally using a soft cloth. Rub into the wood grain. Let sit for 10-20 minutes. Buff off excess wax with a soft cloth or buffing wheel. Reapply as needed.

Waterlox® Original Sealer & Finish is a versatile tung-oil-base finish which is an excellent finish for all types of woodwork and is used as the only finish by some of the finest turners in America. The first coat penetrates and seals, while following coats build up the surface. Waterlox® can be sprayed, rolled, brushed, or applied with a lint-free cloth. Finished surfaces are dust-free and hard, but can be washed occasionally with mild soap and water. A favorite finish among Australian woodturners, U Beaut® Shellawax Friction Polish is a shellac-based friction polish that creates a water-proof, high gloss finish in seconds. Shellawax Polish can be used on all types of woodturnings as well as on wood carvings and furniture. This finish is non-toxic and non-flammable after drying. Apply with a rag, allow to dry, then buff.

Mylands® Cellulose Sanding Sealer protects against discoloration caused by finishes, fills the pores of the wood to assure a smooth finish as well as providing a durable base on which to apply the final finish. Cellulose Sanding Sealer is a lacquer-based sealer that dries hard and when used alone results in a matte, natural looking finish. We highly recommend using this sealer prior to Mylands® Friction Polish to achieve an exceptional high gloss finish. 16.2 oz.

Designed for removing scratches from plastics, Craftics® 20/20 Plasti-Polish is used with 0000 steel wool or a flannel cloth to obtain a low sheen or satin finish on plastics. A small amount is applied with a soft cloth while the lathe is running. It is striking when used on plastic turnings which have been grooved or decorated with a chatter tool. The white polish will stay in the grooves and create a contrasting pattern.

U Beaut® EEE-Ultra Shine Paste Wax is designed for use as a sealing/polishing agent prior to applying friction polish. EEE-Ultra Shine contains ultra fine abrasives that polish the wood surface creating an ideal base for friction polish. If you want the highest possible gloss and smoothest surface possible, be sure to use EEE-Ultra Shine Paste Wax prior to applying the final finish. 8.6 oz.

Recommended by Dale Nish, Masters Magic™ Spray Lacquer is a premium spray lacquer guaranteed to outlast traditional hand applied lacquer finishes. The high solids content of this spray make it an ideal finish for small turnings such as ornaments, boxes and pens where a durable satin finish is desired. A glass-like finish can be achieved by buffing the work piece using a buffing wheel and compound. A low luster finish can be achieved using 0000 steel wool and wax.
