Precision

Comments On Nov 30, 2020:I don't think you need digital calipers to cut dovetail tenons for optimal fit with your chuck...but...if you want your boxes to fit, it's a huge help. Knowing within a few thousandths your diameters saves a lot of time contrasted to constantly testing the fit while you sneak up on it. Same for shop-made bushings and fittings. I looked at this item for a long time before springing for it, and I'm really happy with it. The easy switch from metric to Imperial, either in decimal or fractions, is handy! And...it turns itself off if it's inactive instead of quietly exhausting the battery.

Caliper works great

Comments On Jun 14, 2017:After using and abusing this Caliper I decided it was time to review. My conclusion is that if it can take my abuse then you should have one two. I've put it through many drops, much dust and wet wood sap and it works great still after 2 years. I received this as a Father's Day gift and use it when precision and repeatability is needed.

Oustanding caliper
