- Pen Makers Choice™ Rainbow Buckeye Burl Pen Blanks feature one of America's most beautiful woods. When Buckeye Burl is dyed and stabilized, varying amounts of dye are absorbed into the wood fibers resulting in extremely colorful blanks. As with most burls, small pin holes or dark eyes may occur, but the holes can be easily filled with a drop of CA glue.
- Blank size: 3/4" x 5"
- Due to difficulty in maintaining a regular supply, wood will not be back ordered if out of stock.

Comments On Mar 28, 2015:I have turned a few burls for pens and I've noticed that they are weak compared to a normal blank. I was impressed to see that this blank was actually very strong. It didn't crack while putting the pen together and took a great finish.

Comments On Jan 15, 2015:I wasn't really dazzled by the photos that Craft Supplies has on here of these blanks, but I went out on a limb and picked one up anyway. Well, it paid off very nicely. I used this blank to make a slimline for my sister-in-law and it came out looking like a million bucks. It was absolutely worth my money.
