Set of bushings for the Artisan Cigar Case kit.

Bushings are a gauge indicating the recommended final diameter of the finished pen or project blanks. To use, simply mount the blanks between the bushings (following the kit instructions) onto a 7mm pen mandrel. Turn the blanks down to match the bushing diameter, leaving a little extra material for final sanding and finishing.
    • Precision machined steel for accuracy
    • Fits 7mm pen mandrels
    • For use ONLY with the Artisan® Cigar Case kit

Great bushings, hard on the mandrel

Comments On Sep 16, 2018:These bushing fit on a 7mm pen mandrel and fits well in the cigar tubes. The problem I had was it marred my mandrel. On both bushings, the outside ends cut small grooves in my mandrel. At first, I thought the CA finish had glued itself to the mandrel. But a closer inspection showed small grooves in my mandrel from the bushings. I eventually put it my vise and had to tap the bushings off with a hammer and a wooden dowel. I lightly sanded the burred edges off the cut marks and slid the bushings back on. The was still some hesitation. I don't want to take my mandrel down anymore and I have 4 more cigar cases to turn. I will see how it goes. If it wasn't for that, it would be a great buy.
