Great price for a great chuck!

Comments On Jul 21, 2020:This all in one system holds all popular sizes and half sizes. Just what I needed. Other systems require you to buy half sizes in small med and large, and full sizes in small medium and large separately with an ending cost of well over $200! An incredible deal for $60, plus it works perfectly, and is super well made.
For thin rings (4mm or less) just flip one size of the grommets to a flat side and voila it holds them as well! Incredibly pleased with this purchase.

Another must have for ring turning

Comments On Jul 04, 2020:This is the best way to hold a ring core for the final step in turning and finishing a ring. I wish they also had plastic bushings for applying CA glue but no reason to give this less Than 5 stars. Would be a 5 plus if they were ever to become available. This mandrel is solid and very well made.
I would not turn rings without one.

Makes turning rings more pleasurable

Comments On Mar 19, 2019:Ring productivity has become much faster. My only disappointment is that the bushings are aluminum and when polishing it stains my project, plastic bushings would be better. Overall a fantastic tool.

Comments On Nov 18, 2018:I had very high hopes for this product, however it doesnâ??t seem to be machined properly and has a bit of a wobble to it. It viberates my entire cast iron lathe.. would not recommend.
Additional Comments On Dec 07, 2018:Customer service promptly contacted me and sent me a new one that turns perfectly true. No more uneven rings!! This is the product I hoped it would be. Good tool for ring turing.

Comments On Oct 10, 2018:This product is great in theory. However, only the small bushings fit on the chuck which severely limits the functionality. The included medium and large bushings dot not fit on the chuck. The bushing's hole is too small to fit over the spindle. Emailing support has been very slow to respond.
Additional Comments On Oct 23, 2018:Support made everything right by sending a new chuck and bushings. I sent the first one back for them to examine. The new one works great. All bushings fit onto the chuck with no problems. Overall, this greatly improves my ability to turn rings. It's easy to get the ring cores on and off the chuck, the turn is stable, and you can really focus on the detail work. One of the bushings is slightly off center and has a bit of a wobble. However, this does not seem to impact how it holds the ring core in place. Good design for those who love to make rings!
