Comments On Jan 04, 2016:I have bought a few bags of this product. It works well alone or in combination with other type of inlay (Inlace etc.). If used solo I recommend using 5-min epoxy. Once you widen cracks (with a Dremel, for example) there are a couple of ways to inset the shavings. The first is to mix them with epoxy, the second is to drop the shavings in and place epoxy over the shavings. I find the second method easier. Either way, you want a dense packing of the material to optimize the appearance. Also important is making the cracks wide enough (~1/8") that the shavings can lay randomly.
I have also found good results mixing with Beek inlace. It will take more shavings that you may think to create a striking effect.
My only beef is that I would prefer slightly shorter shavings. Overall I highly recommend this product.
