- Artisan® Lemon Oil Wax features a combination of oil, wax and lemon oil to produce the ultimate finish for wooden kitchenware. The soft wax spreads easily, and while you rub it in, turns into an oil which penetrates and seals the surface. The light tangy smell of lemon adds freshness while the oil restores the luster and patina of the wood. Use the oil wax whenever necessary to maintain the finish.

Smells great and goes on easily

Comments On Nov 13, 2015:You will really like this Lemon Oil wax. When you put it on, it really has a sweet lemon smell, that everyone seems to enjoy. It is a very soft treatment, that goes on smooth, and melts readily from the heat of your hand. Most people would say it is more of just an oil treatment for wood, but you can see a solidified component to it that I am guessing to be beeswax. That being said, if you want a quick, easy to apply kitchen safe wood treatment...this might be the way you want to go. I think it is more for the end-user of the turned item, and they can quickly and easily apply it, and it is not something you need to worry about handling with care, so put it on without gloves, and wipe off the excess with a piece of paper towel. And because of the good lemon smell, the user won't mind doing it. I say if you like the smell of sweet lemons, and like keeping your turned wood treated with a quick protective layer, this might be the way to go for you. I recommend giving it a try.
