For that extra shine

Comments On Jul 04, 2020:The blue wax leaves a very shinny finish. Try to limit the amount of metal the polishing wheel comes in contact with. I tried polishing a piece while still on the mandrel. I do not recommend doing this. Metal leaves black from the metal being polished and you do not want any of that transferring to your work piece. I use this on almost everything I turn and highly recommend it.

Perfect for acrylic

Comments On Feb 24, 2019:This system is awesome for polishing acrylic pens. I have used it on some wooden pens and other small turnings with good results.
I also use the Beal buffing system on larger items but this system seems to work better for smaller pieces.

My go-to for all my turnings

Comments On Feb 05, 2016:I purchased the Barry Gross buffing systems at a Woodworking show where Barry was demonstrating pen turning a few years ago.
I have no experience at all with the Beall system which is a bit more expensive. However, this two-wheel system does all that I want or need! I use it as the final step in all my turnings (which are limited to pens and other similar size items).
I am very satisfied, and would recommend it without reservation.
