Comments On Feb 08, 2019:One of the biggest mistakes you can make is using cheap sandpaper. If you want a professional finish, it starts with a high quality abrasive. You wonâ??t get better than Finkat for dry sanding wood. Cuts fast and evenly with minimal load on the paper. Itâ??s the only paper Iâ??ll use and worth every penny.

Comments On Dec 24, 2013:This is my favorite traditional sheet sandpaper of all, it cuts fast and cleanly but it does heat up from the friction on the lathe rather quickly. Folds nicely without tearing, you can use and reuse single pieces many many times. Works amazingly in woods like maple, birch and ash, it does get plugged up on oily wood unfortunately. All around a great sandpaper I use it on the lathe, palm sanders and just little bits by hand or with a block.

For pen making, I like to stack these up in my grits, staple and small squares. Then I tear off used portions. Only downside is that I now have a ton of 80 grit sandpaper That is sitting unused.
