Power Lock™ Sanding Discs feature a flexible rubber pad that's more aggressive than standard foam backing pads. In fact, we recommend that basic sanding be done with the Power Lock discs. Some shaping can be done, and the locking system overcomes problems with friction and heat. The bowl turner will find this is the ideal basic power sanding disc. The cloth-back, resin-bond, silicone carbide discs will usually last longer than a sheet of abrasive paper.
