Abranet® Sanding Screen Discs cut faster, are longer lasting and will not load like ordinary sanding discs. Ideal for both wet and dry sanding, this unique patented material contains thousands of small holes that increase cutting speed and reduce heat build-up. By washing Abranet discs, they can be used again and again.

We recommend using a backing pad as an interface between your hook and loop holder and the sanding disc to protect your disc holder from wear and tear.

Excellent sanding abrasive

Comments On Apr 02, 2015:Purchased once for a test but it will be the main abrasive for the future. Abranet reduces sanding time and minimizes the chance of creating additional sanding.

I Love Using Abranet!

Comments On Sep 16, 2014:Yeah it's expensive, but totally worth it! Even following the adage of "use sandpaper like someone else is buying it" I feel like I'm saving money by using abranet. Every sandpaper wears out, but this stuff is top notch and lasts a very long time! It also sands wet wood and finishes easily without loading up. If you don't like it then you're using the wrong side!

General Abranet review - stuff is great

Comments On May 02, 2013:Abranet is great - it's like a Stanley Surform rasp but in different grits. The open mesh does not clog with sanding dust - one can see the dust coming off as one sands. So one certainly needs some kind of vacuum collection system. A few taps cleans the disc off, gets the dust out, as I am using them. Or when the disc gets clogged one can just wash them out. I use them with the full selection of sanders on this site - Busy Bee Palm Sander, Reach Sanding Ball, Disc Holder or Sorby Angle Sander.
