- Turners Choice™ Banksia Pods are the fruit of the Australian Banksia tree. It takes several years for the pods to mature. The pods are hard and solid, with seed pod cavities running from the outside toward the center core. They are easily turned and can produce very unusual turnings.
- Pod size: 5-1/2"-10" long x at least 2-1/2" dia.

Comments On Mar 31, 2015:I used a Banksia Pod on a small project. I was surprised that when you get past the surface of the pod it has a furry exterior. I took a beating on my hands and arms while turning. Be sure to wear proper protection. After I turned away the fuzz I could see the beauty of the pod coming out. Have fun!
