Comments On Apr 21, 2014:Make sure to have your eye-pro on when you turn this wood. When your rounding it out it comes off in little chips that will get you good in the face. once its round it cuts very nice. Its going to require a fair amount of sanding so leave a little extra to get that extra fine surface.

Comments On Oct 30, 2013:Zebrawood is a very popular wood, especially with bottle stoppers. It draws a lot of attention to itself. The wood itself is great to turn, sand, and even takes a finish beautifully. The grain sets it apart from any other kind of wood. If I could only work with one species of wood it would probably be either Zebra or Cocobolo.
