Nice but extremely wet

Wet wood, good customer service

Comments On Dec 10, 2018:I ordered 3 of these blanks to make some Christmas presents with and they arrived super wet, MC 43% on my Wagner meter. Not partly seasoned at all. All the other wood I ordered was fine and usable right away. Called customer service and was able to keep the blanks and receive a refund. Hopefully they'll be dry before next Christmas. Comments On Sep 09, 2018:I have made some handles with this, as well as some rings. Not as good for rings. It seems to lose any definition when the project gets too small. Just looked grayish. As a slightly larger project, it was great.

My favorite turning wood

Comments On Aug 05, 2014:I've purchased the 3x3x12 Claro Walnut multiple times, and I've always been delighted with the wood. The grain and color are beautiful, and there's a nice variation from one piece to the next. I use it mostly to turn vases, boxes, and small bowls, and it's a pleasure to turn.
