    Excellent quality and performance

Comments On May 14, 2013:I use this to hold dowels for making finials, and for holding bottle stoppers and other small turnings. The machining is excellent, and it holds the parts rock solid with no marring and no wavering. Collets install and release easily (be sure to read the instructions on how to install and remove them). Expensive, but you get what you pay for, and having tried (and returned) the Apprentice Collet Chuck, I can assure you the Beall is MUCH higher quality.
