The 4" SC4 is built to meet the needs of professional woodturners, being capable of holding large work pieces while possessing the precision and compactness to handle more delicate work. A heavy duty chuck, the SC4 features an overall robust design with enclosed back, full indexing plate, and pinions driven by a long ball-ended hex key to make access easy even when large work pieces are mounted. The threaded insert design allows you to use your chuck on multiple lathes by changing inserts.
