Details

Designed to be used in conjunction with the Oneway™ Wolverine™ Sharpening System, the Skew Grinding Jig makes it easy to create a flat, consistant bevel. The design of the jig helps to eliminate the hollow grind associated with sharpening on grinding wheels giving you more bevel surface to ride on the workpiece while turning.
  • V-Arm required (not included)
  • Instructions included

  • NOT interchangeable with other sharpening systems.

Skew grinding jig

Comments On Jan 31, 2017:This tool has made my life so easy. Before i was sharpening by eye and hand. It was not easy and never seemed to be quite right. On purchasing this item I have been able to sharpen my chisels and they have stayed sharper longer because I have been able to sharpen my tools properly. I believe this is a wonderful piece of kit.

Good but not great

Comments On Apr 24, 2016:This skew jig does a good job but there is a catch. If your skew is wider than your grinding wheel, you have to move it back & forth to sharpen the edge. Due to the style of the jig, this will slightly change the angle you're grinding at. It hasn't been a problem, but getting a perfectly straight line at the end of the bevel is impossible unless you're sharpening a smaller size skew. If the jig would slide perpendicular to the wheel it would solve the problem, but alas, the jig is mounted to the arm in a stationary manner. It would've been perfect if not for this one flaw.
