Works well

Comments On Mar 15, 2020:Well designed and manufactured. Works very well in moderately wet to very wet wood. Tough to do with dry wood.

Strong, Sturdy and well made

Comments On Dec 10, 2014:The base is a primary part of any coring system. If the base is not sound, the entire system is compromised. I found this base to be very well made and it is strong, can be well secured to the lathe bed and carries the knives and support fingers very well. They even provide you with a wrench for the center nut. I will say it is important to ensure the set screws for the steel pugs remain tight so the plugs don't fall out if it is turned upside-down between coring sessions. 5 stars!
