    The tool for many uses

Comments On Jan 23, 2017:This Bedan Beading tool works well for making beads on spindles as expected but I have found it has many other uses as well. This tool is perfect for truing up the edge of a spindle workpiece, for making crisp edges for chuck attachments. To my surprise this has become my go to tool when making turned boxes. It makes perfect, straight and crisp top tendons and bottom recesses, allowing me achieve the perfect suction fit. It also works better than any other tool when a flat bottom is required for small turned boxes.

    Excellent Tool!

Comments On Dec 08, 2013:This tool has been a great addition to my turning gouges. It has kept it's edge and is perfect for creating a shoulder for a turner's chuck to hold onto turning stock.

Sorby quality if you need a Bedan

Comments On Nov 15, 2012:Seems to hold an edge as you would expect for a HSS tool. Not a whole lot of options out there for a Bedan although it's essentially a piece of square stock ground to a point. I changed the grind to be closer to 35 degrees and saw improved results. It would be nice if they offered a powered A-11 version.
