Designed specifically for finishing the bottom interior of bowls, the Artisan® Bottoming Gouge features a special bevel shape that’s ground to 55º so you can make a finishing cut on the bottom interior of deeper bowls without risk of the tool shaft contacting the rim of bowl.
    • Short 4-3/4" flute for added strength and longer reach
    • M2 High speed steel
    • Solid Ash handle with heavy brass ferrule
    • Blade measures: 5/8" outside diameter
    • Overall length: 26"

    • Artisan® woodturning tools provide an economical alternative to other more expensive high-speed steel tools without sacrificing quality or performance. Though not as highly polished as standard Henry Taylor tools, Artisan® tools are made of the same top quality heat-treated M2 high-speed steel and premium ash handles as standard Henry Taylor tools, but at a lower price.
