Sharpening Carbide Cutters
Easy Wood Tools Tip 1: Choosing Your Tool Size
Easy Wood Tools Tip 2: Proper Use
Comments On Jun 06, 2016:I was traveling and stopped at a wood turners shop in Dallas. I made a spur of the moment decision and bought a full size finishing tool (it was my birthday ) and love the tool. I have only been turning 10 months and still have trouble with some of my cuts. The first thing I made , when I got home, was (2) 41/2 inch communion cups for my wife and I. It was easy and came out great. I am sold. Will get the roughing tool next. It was a spur of the moment decision I will never regret. Looking forward to some demos at the Waco SWAT meet in August.

Comments On Apr 01, 2015:I turn open segmented bowls and other objects. I have been using the Easy Wood Full Size Finisher to do almost all of my turning. The bowls I have turned are made from maple and walnut and the finisher works wonderful on turning these delicate structures that are constructed of hardwoods. I have not rotated the carbide cutter as the tool is still cutting nicely. I like the tool so much that I am planning to purchase a parting tool from the same manufacture. It is great to not have to sharpen tools all the time.

Comments On Apr 01, 2015:This tool has improved my wood turning. It stays super-sharp, it goes through most woods as if they were butter, and it leaves a very smooth finish. I have other interchangeable-carbide-tip tools, but this one has the best quality and design. When my wallet recovers, I'm going to buy the other sizes.
