    Love this gouge

Comments On Feb 29, 2016:I have a good assortment of tools from Thompson, P&N, Taylor, Isles and others, but this is in my opinion the best tool going for bowl turning beginning to end. I've bought 3 of these over time because it's great to be able to grab a fresh tool, especially for finishing and shear cutting. It's a pleasure to use and takes very little work to resharpen. I use the Ellsworth sharpening jig and it's a no-brainer process. I also have the smaller version and it's every bit as nice a tool.
