Eliminate time wasted changing centers by mounting a Robert Sorby® Stebdrive Crown Drive Center directly in the lathe chuck. Designed specifically for use in standard four jaw chucks, the Stebdrive offers all the benefits of the popular Stebcenter while eliminating the need to remove the chuck for between center turning.

Tendon or recess is perfectly centered

Comments On Jan 23, 2017:When I use this Stebdrive Center in my chuck it insures that the tendon/recess is exactly on the same center line as the chuck. This means that I have to do minimum work truing up the workpiece if any. I use this on all spindle work and small to medium bowls.
