Good Quality - lacking a bleed filter

Comments On Dec 10, 2014:I found all these items to be of good quality, easy to use and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and no additional part were needed EXCEPT, I did add a filter to the bleed valve port. Normally bleed valves are thought of as placed to release pressure. In a vacuum system the opposite is true, it draws in air (and dust). When I put this system on my lathe, the bleed port was close enough to my working area that I determined it would draw in sanding dust and other debris that should be in the air (primarily exposing my gage to debris and potentially shortening its working life). Keep the filter in the system immediately before the vacuum pump. I went to an auto parts store and picked up an inexpensive in-line air filter that I added at the end of the bleed line. I like this system and I like it more with my added filter. I gave it 4 stars for this reason.
