Robert Sorby Chatter Tool
The Robert Sorby® Chatter Tool is used to create decorative textures and patterns to turned objects such as boxes, lids, endgrain bowls and jewelry. The random pattern created by the chatter tool is unique each time it is created. By varying the exposed length of the blade, the pattern produced by the rhythmic chatter of the blade against the wood changes. Instructions included. The Chatter Tool can also be used as a shear scraping tool for finishing small turnings using the shear scraper blade. Kit includes handle assembly, 2 chatter blades and a shear scraper blade. For use on end grain only.
