This DVD helps reduce the leaning curve if you have a Kelton/McNaughton system. I really like the tip of using a spray bottle of water to cool/lubricate the bar instead of the WD-40 or other oil sprays that one sees being used elsewhere.

Excellent DVD on Metal Inlay!
This is the second Ted Sokolowski DVD I've watched (the first was on pepper mill building / design) and both are outstanding! As a professional educator, I am truly impressed with the thoughtful, sequential, and informative approach Ted takes with his instructional DVDs. Additionally the cinematography is top-notch, providing clear views of each step of the way. At first I hesitated before ordering the Inlay DVD--I thought, "this doesn't look all that hard and I could probably figure it out on my own." While I may have eventually learned how to inlay without this DVD, I would have wasted time, resources, and money doing so. On the DVD, Ted shows how to inlay safely and efficiently, going over techniques and tools that really help to augment the process. Overall, I consider this DVD to be an excellent purchase and look forward to more Sokolowski Studios releases!
