    looks great, but has one flaw

    This kit looks and functions really well. I made one (technically two) for my father to take on construction missions trips. The issue I had was during assembly of the the sharpener piece, you have to be extremely careful not to glue it so that the sharpener cannot be used. I went through two trying to do this properly. You either end up using too much glue and glue it all up and cannot use it, or you use too little glue and it does not stay together. Otherwise, like I said before, once its finished it looks great and very functional.

    Great Looking - Poor Mechanics

    This is my opinion only. Your experience may be different. A great idea! Combine a pencil & pen in one. I bought 3 kits to try out before ordering a supply to sell at craft shows and my 'net site. Finish is very good. Kits are easy to assemble. Produces a good looking pen/pencil. The mechanism does not switch easily from pen to pencil and jams frequently. Advancing lead for pencil is unreliable. If I were to sell these as a finished product, I believe most of them would be returned in a short time and the buyer would be asking for a refund. Hopefully this kit will be improved.

    Easy assemble

    This was the first pencil kit I attempted to make. I was very pleased with how easy it was. It turns like a regular Slimline Pen kit and assembles just as easily. The receiver of this Pencil was very pleased, you will be too.
