This material is easy to turn using regular scraping tools and techniques, and although fairly brittle, will produce a shaving similar to good boxwood. Alternative Ivory is non-toxic and will turn, bore and thread easily. Uses are limited only by your imagination. A sheet providing information on working and finishing is included.
