The Pro-Forme Hollowing tool by Woodcut is one of the finest free-hand, end grain/hollow form turning tool on the market. It has a hardened M2 high speed steel cutter that is open on the side-to prevent clogging common with other end grain/hollow form tools, Its adjustable safety gauge determines cut depth and prevents dig-ins.
Pro-Forme tools are available in three types: straight, slight bend and heavy bend. The slight and heavy bend tools are designed for working under the shoulder of the work piece through a smaller opening or with a reverse curve shape that limits the approach of the straight tool. The new Pro-Scraper Head is a versatile scraper cutter that allows you to remove the uneven surface left behind by the end grain cutter. All Pro-Forme tools feature a heavy duty 5/8" diameter shaft that will reach up to 10" over the rest.
