  • The Apprentice™ Press Block is a handy pen making jig that's guaranteed to save you time and money by avoiding costly mistakes when assembling twist pens. Even if your tubes are slightly long or a little bit short, the Press Block guarantees the twist mechanism will be perfectly positioned every time. Simply set the twist mechanism and pen barrel (with point already pressed into place) in the block and press them together. When the clamping jaws contact the ends of the block, the twist mechanism is in the perfect position, guaranteed. No more guessing, pulling pens apart or worse yet, throwing them away. For use with pens that use a standard twist transmission and full length Cross® type refill.

Great product.

Comments On Aug 11, 2013:Got one and it sure saves a lot of time in the assembly process. Takes the guess work out of how far to press the pen mechanism into the pen. Can't press it in too far.
