Good pen, bad click mechanism

PHILLIP in TX

Comments On Nov 10, 2012:These pen kits are the same as the twist cigar pens, but have the click mechanism. I rate the twist version at 5 stars, but this one at only 3. The reason for the decreased rating is the click mechanism lacks a "quality" feel. The clicker portion that you press to activate the pen sits loosely in the housing and will rattle around as you write with the pen. This can be seriously distracting and makes the pen seem a lot lower in quality. I gave a click pen and a twist pen to a friend and after a few days of use he gave back the click pen thinking it was defective. It's not defective, the click mechanism is just designed to be wonky. I'm still searching for a good click pen, perhaps the manhattan series will be a better kit.
