Sorby quality if you need a Bedan
Seems to hold an edge as you would expect for a HSS tool. Not a whole lot of options out there for a Bedan although it's essentially a piece of square stock ground to a point. I changed the grind to be closer to 35 degrees and saw improved results. It would be nice if they offered a powered A-11 version.

Great tool for small work
Using this cutter for pen turning. Turns easy. The finish from the roughing tool is so clean that it eliminated the need for the first two sanding steps. I can go straight to the finer grits and get a beautiful finish.

This tool really takes the cake. It is so easy to use. I have only been turning wood for about 3 weeks and wood working for a little over a year now. EWT makes a great tool and Craft Supplies USA has a great site to get them from.

Hard to use
Great idea to have replacable cutters for this tool, however the method of attaching them to the handle requires that the cutting surface is about 3 inches from the tool rest. Unwieldy to say the least. I returned mine.
