This is a great hook and loop disc holder for the money. It provides great support while sanding and is much more durable than other disc holders on the market. The velcro pad is great quality and holds the discs firmly. Definitely replacing my other disc holders with these.

I bought this sanding kit when I started making pens. The sandpaper is great quality and each roll is 20 ft which is nice. Rockler and woodcraft sell a kit that goes one step further though and has 600 grit as well. It is a bit of a trade off though because their set only has 15ft rolls rather than 20 ft. So you gain an extra grit, but loose the footage this kit has. Overall I'd recommend this kit instead though as you can simply grab some 600 grit sheets from the local hardware store. I find that I only really use 600 grit when finishing wood that shows sanding scratches really badly (IE: really dark woods)

The colors on the back make everything easier and more organized. Esp in a messy shop. The different grits are fairly thick and seem to hold up to heat really well too.

It's the best sandpaper I've used. By far superior and longer lasting than 3M. The paper is thick enough not to roll up or fail..

Abranet is great - it's like a Stanley Surform rasp but in different grits. The open mesh does not clog with sanding dust - one can see the dust coming off as one sands. So one certainly needs some kind of vacuum collection system. A few taps cleans the disc off, gets the dust out, as I am using them. Or when the disc gets clogged one can just wash them out. I use them with the full selection of sanders on this site - Busy Bee Palm Sander, Reach Sanding Ball, Disc Holder or Sorby Angle Sander.

For several years I have been using "other" sanding discs. Many of the other discs wear out after one use or fall apart during 2nd or 3rd use. By falling apart, I mean the backing coming off. I find the green to be more durable and the ceramic grit does not load up as easily as other discs and can be used multiple times with out the backing coming off. Because they do not load up, sanding is faster. My only complaint is 60 grit is not offered. I find the 80 grit does not tear-out as good as 60 does.
